I concluded my tour of the Acholi sub-region at the Kaunda grounds where I addressed a rally and placed emphasis on wealth creation (Lonyo) as key to defeating poverty.
The NRM guidelines since 1986 are clear on the 4-acre module, 1 acre for coffee, 1 for fruits, 1 acre for pasture for feeding the livestock and 4th acre for food crop growing.
This approach should be boosted by the Parish Development Module under which each parish in the country gets a total of 100 million per year. I listened to the people who expressed dissatisfaction with the way their leaders are handling PDM. I will address their concerns.
