President Yoweri Museveni is in Cape Town South Africa for the 28th World Economic Forum on Africa. He is accompanied by 1st Lady, Janet Museveni, who is Minister of Education and Sports.

The Forum’s deliberations will focus on inclusive growth as well as a shared future in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The Ugandan leader is expected to take a lead in the socio-economic discussions in the Forum later today. The Forum is being held at the Cape Town International Conference Centre.

The Forum brings together over 1000 leaders from 0ver 100 countries to address a number of issues facing the region’s inclusive development. 

The President was received on arrival at Cape Town International Airport by the South African Minister of Sports, Arts, and Culture, Hon. Emmanuel Nathi Mthethwa Nkosinathi and Uganda’s High Commissioner to South Africa, Ambassador Barbara Nekesa.
